She's one of our nation's treasures, selling over 75 million albums sold worldwide. And if that don't impress you much, she's also one of the best-selling female country artists of all time. So it comes as a surprise that Shania Twain has never attended or performed at our country's biggest hoedown, the Calgary Stampede...until now.

“I already know I'm going to enjoy these concerts here in Calgary! I know it's just going to be a blast," the singer tells ET Canada in Alberta.

The two sold-out shows will mark her first full concert in over a decade, not counting her current Las Vegas show “Still The One”. And it seems Shania is ready to get back on the road. “Now that the show is all together...I've got the band together and the whole thing is rolling. I think it would be exciting to do more outside shows."

Fans have been eagerly awaiting new material from the icon since the release of her full-length album Up over 12 years ago, and the wait might finally be over! “I'm ready to get the [new] music in the studio," she reveals.

To find out more about her new music, tune in tonight to ET Canada!
