Lionel Richie is in talks with Taylor Swift to sing a duet on his new country album, "Tuskegee," which features Richie singing his soulful classics with country stars including Kenny Rogers, Tim McGraw and Willie Nelson. Richie and Swift would collaborate on Richie's 2003 song "Angel," which be came a hit overseas.

Though the deal isn't confirmed, Swift's producer, Nathan Chapman, produced the "Endless Love" cover with Richie and Shania Twain on Richie's album, to debut this Summer. A rep for Swift didn't get back to us.
