"COME ON OVER" WORLD TOUR
(May 1998 - July 1999):

Well, Shania's 1998/1999 "Come On Over" world tour is over. The tour began May 29, 1998 in Sudbury, Ontario Canada and ended over a year later on July 10, 1999 in Dublin, Ireland. Then Shania extended the tour with a 3 week mini-tour during November and December 1999! Shania's 164 show/two-year tour grossed $63.6 Million in ticket sales! It was the #1 female artist tour, #1 country music tour, and the fifth-biggest touring act of any genre in the U.S. in 1999. Obviously it was one of the most, if not the most successful tour ever!!! SHANIA THRILLED US NIGHT AFTER NIGHT WITH EVERY SHOW FULL OF HIGH-ENERGY FUN AND EXCITEMENT!!! I saw Shania's concert here in Atlanta, GA. on September 26, 1998. I was also lucky enough to attend her concert in Charlotte, N.C. on June 9, 1999 and had front row seats! Finally, I saw Shania's concert when she returned to Atlanta on November 18, 1999. Shania, take some well deserved time off after your spectacular first world tour. We will be anxiously awaiting your new album hopefully by the end of 2000 or early 2001. Thanks to all fans who attended one or more of Shania's concerts. But most of all, thank you Shania for all the memories and fun!!! We all love you! See you on your next tour...

Your #1 Fan,
Tommy
